Today there was a new open window. I met so many people in here. And each single person has his own story. It’s so nice to speak with people from other countries. For example I met a boy from Austria, he is 24 and he have a child from 3 years old. There are twinkles in his eyes when he talks about her. I can't imagine a life like that. But it is so beautiful to hear about it. And there are so many other stories.
Saturday we went with Lisa’s teacher to a quiet beach next to Golden Bay. She is really funny because of her hair. It’s like an Afro man in a beautiful way. The curls are so cool! It was nice just to have a relaxing day. In the evening we met Julienne (a woman form EF) at the bus stop and she decided to go for dinner with us. She is so friendly. In the first week she helps Lisa and me with a new room. That night we ate for the first time Maltese food. Delicious!!
Sunday Lisa, Frederique, Mike and I went to Gozo. Gozo is a really small island next to Malta. First we drive by bus to Slima and over there we changed to boat. In our way we saw the Blue Lagoon. All the guides say that you must see it because of the clear blue water. Ok, it was nice, but not the best I ever saw. From the Blue Lagoon (the Blue Lagoon is on the island Comino next to Gozo) we change the tourist boat for a big speedboat. Within 10 minutes we could put our feet’s on the stones of Gozo. When we get our first impression of the island, with his nice harbor full of colored boats and a big church on the top of a rock, there was a taxi driver screaming to us. "Guys I will show you the hole Island in my taxi instead of the touring car" After a little discussion we decided to go with our privet touring car. We ride around the island with Johnny Cash on the background. We get out of the car in front of a big castle; with his own beauty and we went us in the history of Gozo. On the top of the castle we had a really nice view over the island. There was also a museum and the artist of really nice paintings showed us his work. It gives us al a good feeling to drove and sang, with a really crazy taxi driver, trough the small cute streets of Gozo. That was so much fun! And really exciting! At that time I was thinking about my daddy. He always says, don’t plan anything but let thing happen and go on adventures, discover! And yes we did!
In the evening, we were back at our place. The city was crazy about red/yellow and orange. During the match, the Spanish fans were at one side and the Holland fans were on the other side of the bar street. It was so crazy to see the match with the fans from other side! And after Holland lost the game we decided to go partying with the Spanish people.. Ok forgive me!
There is here a big up side down L.O.V.E but I tell you later about that!
Love, D
